About Blackjack

Online Blackjack at Today777 — Everything You Need to Know

Blackjack is hands down one of the best casino games for the combination of fun and player return. There's a reason it's taken the world by storm — and now, with today777, you can take a seat at a live table with a real dealer without leaving home. Whether you're on your phone, tablet, or computer, the experience is complete: high-definition video, authentic casino sound, dealer interaction, and BRL wagers via Pix.

The premise of blackjack is straightforward: get as close to 21 as possible without going over, and beat the dealer's hand. Number cards are worth their face value, face cards (jack, queen, and king) are worth 10, and an ace can be worth 1 or 11. When you're dealt an ace alongside a face card or a 10, that's blackjack — an automatic 3:2 payout. At today777, all these rules are applied with full transparency, and results are audited by independent bodies to ensure the integrity of every game.

Why Does Blackjack Have the Best RTP in the Casino?

Among all online casino games, blackjack stands out for its exceptionally high RTP (Return to Player) — typically between 99.40% and 99.60% when played with correct basic strategy. That means the house edge averages less than 1%. For comparison: slots usually run between 94% and 97% RTP, and European roulette sits around 97.3%. At today777, live blackjack tables are powered by leading studios such as Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, with RTPs that are independently verified and publicly disclosed.

The secret to hitting that maximum RTP is what's known as basic strategy: a set of mathematically optimized decisions that tell you when to hit, stand, double down, or split. Further down this page you'll find a summary chart of these strategies to use as a reference while you play.

Live Blackjack: Real Dealers, Real Casino Atmosphere

One of the standout features today777 has brought to Brazilian players is live blackjack with dealers who speak Brazilian Portuguese. That's right — no English-speaking dealers, no confusing subtitles. In Brazilian Blackjack, available exclusively at today777 in partnership with Pragmatic Play, you interact with the table in real time in your own language. The atmosphere is professional, polished, and fully immersive.

HD cameras capture every move the dealer makes — card shuffles, draws, and table layout — with complete transparency. You can use the chat to talk to the dealer and fellow players at the table. It's the full casino floor experience, with the freedom to play wherever you are: on the couch at home in São Paulo, on the beach in Florianópolis, or on your lunch break in Belo Horizonte.

Variants Available at Today777

Beyond classic blackjack, today777 offers a range of variants that bring different dynamics to the game. The Speed Blackjack was built for players who hate waiting — everyone acts simultaneously, which significantly speeds up the pace of the game. The Infinite Blackjack allows an unlimited number of players to join the same dealer hand, each making their own independent decisions — perfect for anyone who doesn't want to wait for a seat at the most popular tables.

The Free Bet Blackjack is a great variant for beginners: the house covers splits and doubles at no cost on certain hand combinations, lowering the player's risk. And the Blackjack VIP Gold is the high-limit table for serious players — chips starting at R$ 200.00 and a maximum of R$ 50,000.00 per hand.
